Association Cetacea was founded in August 2012, with the aim of protecting, conserving and researching marine life and habitats along the Catalan coast. Through our activities we hope to add our grain of sand to the thousands that have already been contributed by other organizations and people, in the preservation of the marine environment and the species that inhabit it.

The project, which began in 2014, aims to deepen the knowledge of the cetacean communities that frequent the central Catalan coast, either temporarily or seasonally, as more or less permanently.
