Association Cetacea was founded in August 2012, with the aim of protecting, conserving and researching marine life and habitats along the Catalan coast. Through our activities we hope to add our grain of sand to the thousands that have already been contributed by other organizations and people, in the preservation of the marine environment and the species that inhabit it.
Associació Cetàcea is pleased to present the technical report in which we analyse the results of the Project Photo-Identification: Whales and dolphins along the Catalan coast 2017 season. The project was started in 2014 and its main objective is to deepen our knowledge on the cetacean communities that can be frequently seen off the central Catalan coast.

July 2017 – DEPANA ADOPTS A RISSO’S DOLPHIN
From October 2016 to March 2017, the Lliga per la Defensa del Patrimoni Natural (DEPANA) undertook a fundraising campaign to adopt the Risso’s dolphin GG0010, included in our.
