Association Cetacea was founded in August 2012, with the aim of protecting, conserving and researching marine life and habitats along the Catalan coast. Through our activities we hope to add our grain of sand to the thousands that have already been contributed by other organizations and people, in the preservation of the marine environment and the species that inhabit it.
July 2017 - DEPANA ADOPTS A RISSO'S DOLPHIN
From October 2016 to March 2017, the Lliga per la Defensa del Patrimoni Natural (DEPANA) undertook a fundraising campaign to adopt the Risso’s dolphin GG0010, included in our. 29/11/2016 - REPORT ON TV3'S INFOK
Marina, a small anti-dolphinaria activist, joined us in our nineth sighting survey of the season. Marina came with her parents and a TV3 unit which filmed a report for the kids news bulletin Info K. We were fortunate to share the sailing day and our best thoughts with her whilst working on the development of the whales and dolphins photo-identification catalogue in the Catalana coast.
