Associació Cetàcea is a non-profit, self-funded and self-managed entity. None of its members receive economic compensation for the work they do. Our objectives are focused on developing projects and campaigns of research and conservation on the Catalan coast. At present, we offer you the opportunity to contribute and collaborate with us in a variety of ways: make a financial microdonation (Teaming), collaborate regularly with a membership fee or contribute personally to the projects and campaigns in which we are working. From the Associació Cetàcea, we would like to thank you for any type of collaboration that will help us carry out our studies and defense activities on marine animals.
Since 2017, we initiated a partnership registration process to expand the social base of Associació Cetàcea. As we rely exclusively on our own resources, the contribution with the annual fee (€ 40) represents an invaluable source of income that will allow us to continue working each season, so each and every one of the partners represents an important part of the project.
Once registered, all members of Associació Cetàcea may benefit from the following advantages:
- 20% discount on field trips and activities that require registration.
- 10% discount on merchandising.
- 10% discount on our “Adopt a dolphin” program.
- Receive regular information through our quarterly electronic bulletin (in catalan or spanish).
- Keep up-to-date on all the news and activities related to the association (in catalan or spanish).
- When you sign up, you’ll receive a pdf guide about the cetaceans in Catalunya (currently being developed).
- Picture of the month. Each month you will receive a picture of the activities or surveys carried out.
- Right to participate actively in the becoming of the association through the assemblies (only presential).
- Priority to participate in: field trips, conferences, workshops, etc.
A good way to collaborate is by joining one of our cetacean sighting surveys within the Photo-identification project. This will be a first-hand experience that will allow you see our work and have a better knowledge of the cetacean communities inhabiting the Catalan coast whilst enjoying a day at sea. BECOME A VOLUNTEER OF CETÀCEA
Another way to collaborate with us is by volunteering in one of our projects. There is currently a group of volunteers actively helping us out in the photo-identification project. For further information, please contact us at info∂associaciocetacea.org
ADOPT A DOLPHIN
A further way to financially collaborate with Cetàcea is by adopting one of the dolphins included in the Rissos’s dolphin or bottlenose dolphin photo-identification catalogues. You can adopt one of them and give him a name by making a donation of at least 100€ and you will receive a poster with its best photographs in high resolution. We will also inform you about any future resightings. Donations received will be used to finance the photo-identification project.
TEAMING: Collaborate from 1 € a month
Teaming is a solidary platform that allows you to make financial micro donations to different causes. With a symbolic donation of 1 € you can collaborate with the desired project. Associació Cetàcea created its own Teaming Group in order to finance part of the projects that we are carrying out, mainly the development of a photo-identification catalogue of the cetaceans off the central Catalan coast. All members of Associació Cetàcea have already make their donation. Join us!!
If you are interested in supporting us, you can make a donation via bank transfer to our bank account IBAN: ES03 1491 0001 2820 6817 5120 in any office of Triodos Bank.
If you have any inquire or any doubts about the different collaboration types, don’t hesitate to contact us at info∂associaciocetacea.org or via the web form. We’ll be pleased to receive your message.
