17/03/2017 – THE SHORT-BEAKED COMMON DOLPHINS SIGHTING IN THE NEWS
The sighting of short-beaked common dolphins recorded during one of the surveys of the Photo-Identification last Sunday has been mentioned in different media during the past week. They also mentioned the recent publication of the technical report with the results of the project for seasons 2015 and 2016. Tehe news were published in the Diari de Tarragona, in the Eix diari and in the Diari de Vilanova.
The TV3 local news broadcasting show Telenotícies Comarques edició Tarragona showed a short video of the sighting. You can watch the video in this link starting at the 20th minute and 40 seconds.

After reading and listening to the claims stated by workers of the Barcelona’s zoo in regards to the closure of its dolphinarium in different media, our colleague Eva Rizo wrote this short letter, which was published in the newspaper El Periódico de Catalunya. You can read the letter here.

360 ràdio, is an internet radio, which mission is to bring together all water sports lovers from Catalunya in order to spread and strengthen the responsible and environmentally practice of these sports. 27/11/2013 – REPORT AT ECOAVANT
The electronic magazine EcoAvant, specialized in environmental news, published a report about fin whales (Balaenoptera physalus) of the Mediterranean Sea called “Un gigante amenazado” (A threatened Giant), where the journalist writes about the problems and threats of this baleen whale in the Mediterranean Sea. He also gives a brief explanation about the Fin Whale project. We hope you enjoy it!!
09/09/2013 – INTERVIEW AT MATARÓ RÀDIO
On September 9th Associació Cetàcea took part in the radio show Ones de mar, at Mataró Ràdio. We had the opportunity to talk for about an hour with Oscar Montferrer, producer and director of the show and member of the Federació Catalana d’Activitats Subaquàtiques (FECDAS). We talked about really interesting subjects such as marine conservation and cetaceans of the Mediterranean sea. We also had the chance to chat about the Fin Whale Project.
