Finished projects
Since 2012, year of its foundation, the Associació Cetàcea has created, developed and fulfilled projects focussed on the catalan marine environment research, specially on the different cetacean species that live here. With these projects we want to get a better knowledge of the populations living in the area in order to establish better conservation and protection measures. Here you have some of the finished projects:
FIN WHALE PROJECT

The Fin Whale Project was created in 2013 with the aim of studying the fin whale (Balaenoptera physalus) off the coast of el Garraf. The study area is located off the central Catalan coast, between the villages of Castelldefels and Segur de Calafell, and its goals are to expand our knowledge on the species in this area.
